青春
Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.
青春不是生命的一段時(shí)光,它是一種精神狀態(tài);它不是紅潤(rùn)的面頰,紅色的嘴唇和柔軟的雙膝;它是一種意志、最優(yōu)的創(chuàng)造力和充滿活力的情感;它是使生命之泉永不枯竭的。 Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.
青春意味著戰(zhàn)勝懦弱的勇氣氣質(zhì)的優(yōu)勢(shì)，
在輕松的'愛(ài)情冒險(xiǎn)的胃口。這往往存在于一個(gè)60比20歲以上的人。年歲有加，僅僅數(shù)年。我們的成長(zhǎng)，并非垂老。
Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. 歲月悠悠,衰微只及肌膚;熱忱拋卻,頹唐必至靈魂。
Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spring back to dust.
擔(dān)憂、恐懼、缺乏自信會(huì)扭曲人的靈魂,并將青春化為春歸塵埃。
Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being’s heart the lure of wonder,the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young.
無(wú)論是60歲或16歲，是在每個(gè)人的心，奇跡之誘惑，不懈的下一步是什么芳齡，游戲生活的喜悅。在你的心和我的心的中心，有一座無(wú)線電臺(tái)：只要它接收美好，希望，歡樂(lè)，勇氣和男子和無(wú)窮的力量，消息這么久你就會(huì)年輕。
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die.
一旦天線下降，你的精神是玩世不恭和悲觀厭世的冰雪覆蓋著積雪，然后你就青春永駐，即使在20，但只要豎起天線，捕捉樂(lè)觀信號(hào)，是希望你可能會(huì)死。
