　　Everyone knows that interests can be fostered. Nevertheless, boys often say, “I am not interested in language.” They would even say,“I hate English.” And what about girls? They often show GREat interest in language, but little in mathematics or physics. Perhaps you will give me some scientific bases to prove that this is normal.

　　Indeed, there are some differences between girls and boys, but these differences are not impassable①. If boys or girls try to devote more attention to what they don't like, they will find that both can achieve what they wish to achieve. The key point is that they must foster an interest. The course of trying to be absorbed on what neglected is the course of fostering interests.

　　It you do not like serious reading, you may choose only light books that amuse you. By and by, you will be GREatly interested in it and get something out of it.

　　Here is a story of myself. I have long been fond of language, but I had little interest in mathematics. Yet, I am a UFO-lover. I've kept reading THE JOURNAL OF UFO RESEARCH. In the recent, I've read a lot about the civilizations of outer space. This made me realize that biology, physics, chemistry and mathematics are as important and useful as language. I no longer hate mathematics now.

　　第二次月考成績出來了，給了我最大的感悟：我們總是粗心大意，所以總是如履薄冰。

　　相比第一次月考，這次月考進步很大。其中最重要的一個原因是，在第一次月考前的整個8月里，我總是在復(fù)讀和大學(xué)之間想太多的問題，心情有點不穩(wěn)定。還有就是高考后兩個多月沒看書，感覺很多東西都丟了，所以第一次月考暴露的問題比較多。但是成績出來后，我沒有完全重復(fù)自己的心態(tài)，所以第一次月考沒有總結(jié)�，F(xiàn)在，總結(jié)第二次月考。

　　第二次月考語文120分，數(shù)學(xué)127分，英語101分(不包括口語和聽力考試成績)，文科253分(政治81分，歷史78分，地理94分)，總分601分。年級排名：第30，班級排名：第8。

　　這本語文，選擇題全對(24分)，第二本96分。第二卷暴露出的問題有：文言文翻譯不能著眼長遠(yuǎn)，把句子代入原文討論句子的意思。詩歌鑒賞的表達(dá)技巧和術(shù)語不能隨意使用。(3)必須默寫的古詩詞內(nèi)容，不能滿分。現(xiàn)代閱讀中，一些基礎(chǔ)術(shù)語不夠精通。作文思想不夠深刻。

　　其中有5分左右是不應(yīng)該丟的，包括聽寫丟的2分。把這篇文章背下來完全是因為一個人的粗心。我一直不想背這些煩人的古詩詞，也不想漫不經(jīng)心的對待它們，所以回答了“如履薄冰”這句話。

　　數(shù)學(xué)成績127，在班里不算高也不算低。當(dāng)然和那些145分的同學(xué)比起來，真的很差。但我不難過。

　　我考數(shù)學(xué)的時候習(xí)慣做完選擇題和填空題，然后仔細(xì)數(shù)一數(shù)，保證都沒問題，讓自己安心做大題�；税雮€小時完成并檢查填空題和選擇題(共14題，70分)。接下來的六大題我還有一個半小時。但是第一個大問題是三角函數(shù)的復(fù)雜簡化。第一次簡化完之后，計算完第二個問題發(fā)現(xiàn)數(shù)字太大太奇怪，就在草稿紙上簡化了很多遍。最后兩次，結(jié)果都一樣，用來算第二題的題讓我覺得很正常。我確信最后兩個簡化的答案是正確的。這個時候已經(jīng)四點了，離考試結(jié)束還有一個小時。我趕緊給監(jiān)考老師換了一張答題卡，因為我的答題卡第一次寫了簡答題，已經(jīng)寫不出正確答案了。于是我在一個小時內(nèi)匆匆做完了下面的題。好在第二卷考了77分，選擇題滿分50分，是127分。

　　雖然我并不難過，也不覺得數(shù)字低有什么遺憾，但我還是總結(jié)了一下暴露出來的'問題：立體幾何的練習(xí)需要加強，尤其是我的空間思維太差，練習(xí)的強度需要加強。你不能在常數(shù)題中巧妙地構(gòu)造一個新函數(shù)，通過二次求導(dǎo)計算出最大值和最小值。

　　英語考試給了我很大的打擊。因為從來沒有關(guān)注過英語作文，最后在高二第二卷拿到了自僥幸拿到高分以來的最低分。這次我的粗心讓我很難過。幸運的是，正是在如履薄冰的這一次，讓我開始關(guān)注英語作文，我認(rèn)為這是一件好事。沒有一擊，你永遠(yuǎn)都是無心的。

　　文科綜合成績253。復(fù)習(xí)結(jié)束后，我需要加強每個科目的記憶，形成系統(tǒng)的知識體系，多做題，多總結(jié)。

　　如果英語成績和以前一樣高，這次總分應(yīng)該是610，但是我很感激這一擊，讓我明白了粗心帶來的如履薄冰，也讓我不會因為自己爬得太高，驕傲自大，忘了腳踏實地，最后摔得太低太痛苦而掉以輕心。

　　It is a celebrating day. I got in touch with Michael whom I have been losing contact for one year.

　　It is really magic. I was searching online aimlessly yesterday when an idea struck me suddenly: since Ben can find out my secret by keying in my name in the search engines, why can’t I do so, either?

　　I intended to find out something about Ben in revenge in the first place, but soon extend my name list to a wider category. It was then that I recalled Michael suddenly.

　　We have lost contact since our last correspondence in my senior 3. He mentioned to me in his last letter that he was preparing for going to UK to further his education. I, shamefully, was too busy to reply his mail then. When I was recommended to ZJU and won the final freedom, I thought he had already been in UK so I had no idea where to write him.

　　I used to think that we would never meet again. However, when I browsed the entries about him, I found out excitedly that he is still in P.R.C.!!

　　Without a moment hesitation, I ran upstairs to my dorm and found out my old address book. Thank goodness, his home no was still there.

　　After 3 times calling with no answer replies, I eventually got him on the phone. He was more surprised than I could imagine that when I asked for his hp no he was too nervous to remember it. :P Hehe.

　　Life is enjoyable in moments such like this. Old friends meet again surprisingly, on a road of their own ways to their dreams. they look at the face of each other, and recognize the old pal. It is such moment that makes me feel grateful to life: whenever I set off for a new destination, I see I have friends in the same direction, with whom I won’t feel alone any more.
