Now I am a member of our school basketball team. I play harder than before. My P.E teacher teaches me how to play it better. I made progress. I have my own way to play it. I followed him to the rear of the shop，and he began to haul down from the shelves box after box，displaying their contents for my delectation.

　　為了適應(yīng)新的形勢，作為一名警察不但要業(yè)務(wù)精通，而且要不時地學(xué)習(xí)新的知識來充實(shí)自己，爸爸單位經(jīng)常要舉行不同的考試，英語考試就是其中的一項(xiàng)。這下可苦了爸爸，因?yàn)樗窃卩l(xiāng)下長大的，所以英語基礎(chǔ)非常地差，沒辦法，只好現(xiàn)在用功了。他每天只要一有空，就會坐在家里的錄音機(jī)前面跟著讀，還特地叫姑媽給他買了一本英語詞典呢!記得有一次，我放學(xué)回到家，剛走近門口,就聽見了有人在讀英語，我感到很奇怪，想：今天是誰比我回家還早呢?我進(jìn)門一看，原來是爸爸啊。當(dāng)我走到他的'身后，爸爸竟然還不知道我來了呢。我拍了拍他的肩膀，爸爸立刻回過頭來，看見了我，說：“兒子，你回來了啊，剛才嚇了老爸一大跳啊�！笨粗职诌@么專心致志地學(xué)習(xí)，我放下了先玩一會兒再做作業(yè)的念頭，于是我就坐在旁邊開始做起作業(yè)來了，突然我聽見錄音機(jī)停下來了，哦，原來是爸爸遇到了一個不熟悉的單詞，在翻詞典呢，只見他一邊翻著字典，一邊嘴里還默默地念著這個單詞，當(dāng)學(xué)會了這個單詞，又繼續(xù)讀了起來，直到半夜我去解小便，看見客廳的燈還亮著，哦，原來是爸爸還在學(xué)英語呢。一開始我以為我們?nèi)椅易钚量嗔�，沒想到爸爸白天要上班，晚上還學(xué)習(xí)，真辛苦啊!就這樣，爸爸用這種堅(jiān)持不懈地精神，慢慢地學(xué)習(xí)著英語。
