　　It is universally known that friendship is one of the eternal themes in the literature of all languages. This is because human beings were born to need the warmth and laughter of friends. However it is impossible for us to make friends with everybody. We have to choose true friends. Some of us like similar friends, while others different friends. Personally,I prefer both.

　　It goes Without saying that having similar friends has many advantages, We can feel a sense of strength when we have a group of old friends who would share our sufferings and happiness. Moreover, old friends always know how to maintain mutual trust and how to avoid potential friction. I always feel delighted when I meet an old friend after a long departure. Immediately, hearty laughter fills the atmosphere.

　　Nevertheless I believe that a mixture of friends is equalty advantageous. In the first place, frequent contact with different friends broadens my world outlook. For instance,I have found, it a real treasure to have so many friends on the campus who often help, me reinforce my beliefs. Secondly, I have found that different friends cannot only lead to new adventures but alse show me new avenues in life.Thirdly,they can help me with whatever difficulties I encounter in life

　　In choosing a friend, one should be very careful. A good friend is as valuable as a precious stone. He can help you study. You can have fun together and she is a genius in understanding and tolerant others, and as a friend, she is honest and reliable.

　　Above all else, I look for understanding in a friend. As good friend, she always understands what another person is feeling. She is not quick to judge, instead, she tries to think of ways to be helpful. Further more, she is also a good listener. Of course, I m one of the others .

　　At the same time, however, she is a honest friend. She doesn t look for faults in me. But she does not ignore them either, she once said to me that she would rather focus on my good points. In short, she can understand me and accept me mostly.

　　As a good friend, she is also reliable. I can always depend on her, especially during the days when I prepared for my graduate acceptance test last year. And, if she tells me somewhere at a certain tine, I can be sure she well be there. If I need a favor she ll do her best to help me. If I am in trouble, she ll not desert me.

　　Speaking of the friend,I think of an honest with her.Once,she come to my house,then I just another friend to play,see she is coming,we can play jump step,on the way,we old people,often jumps several steps ……But she never lie,also said:“ you are not honest,the old people,it's not good,not fair.” My friend and I really appreciate her this kind of spirit,will no longer act shamelessly.Playing for a while,we three people played the vegetables carrot soup,I always lose,I begged her to give me a light,less to play a few times,she said:“ to be fair,the rules of the game like,I how to perform,allowed to depend on.” Afterwards,I angrily told her:“ I ignore you,you're no good for me ”。But then I thought:“ I have done anything wrong,she is fair to do this,I can tell her.” Therefore,we made up again.
