There are all kinds of horses in the world. But one of them you cant ride. It doesnt live on land， but in the sea. It looks like the head of horse. So the people call it sea horse. In fact， the sea horse is a small fish. It likes to live in warm water. A sea horse stands up in the water when it swims.
Father horse carries the eggs to keep them safe in its pouch. Whenthe eggsare hatched， the baby horses swim away.
世界上有各種各樣的馬。但其中一個(gè)你不能騎。它不是生活在陸地上，而是生活在海洋中。它看起來(lái)像馬的'頭。所以人們稱(chēng)之為海馬。事實(shí)上，海馬是一種小魚(yú)。它喜歡生活在溫暖的水中。海水游泳時(shí)，一只海馬站在水面上。

Sea horses are not actually horses at all; they are fish. Can you believe it? But what makes them so special is their unusual shape. They have a long, slender body with a curly tail, and a head that resembles a horse, hence their name. Instead of swimming like most fish by moving their bodies side to side, sea horses use their dorsal fin to propel themselves and their tail to grip onto seaweed or coral, which helps them stay in one place even in strong currents.
One of the most amazing things about sea horses is how the fathers take care of their babies. Yes, you heard it right! When its time for the eggs to hatch, the mother sea horse deposits them into a special pouch on the fathers belly. The father then carries the eggs until they hatch, sometimes up to several weeks. This makes sea horses one of the few species where the males give birth.
Sea horses are also masters of camouflage. They come in different colors and can change their appearance to match their surroundings, making it hard for predators to spot them. They live among seaweed and corals, blending in perfectly with their environment.
Sadly, these wonderful creatures are facing many challenges. Pollution, climate change, and overfishing threaten their habitats. Its important for us to learn about sea horses and protect their homes so that future generations can continue to marvel at these tiny, magical creatures of the sea.
