Dear Mother:
lam writing from ourhotei at sludae Beach. ralph and l are on vacation with the children for a days. We are happy to be here, butto tell the truth, we are having a few problems.
The weather isnt very good. ln fact, its cold and cloudy. rigth now lm looking out the window,and its raining cats and dogs.
the children arent very happy. ln fact, theyre bored and theyre having a terrible time.Right now theyresitting on the bed, playing tic tac toe ang watching TV.
all the other hotels here are beautiful and new.Our hotel is ugly, and its very, veryold. ln fact, night now a repairperson is fixing the bathroom sink.
so,mother, were having a few problems here at Sludge Beach, but were happy. were happy to be on vacation, and were happy to be together.
