　　In Beijing's Yuetan park, a royal ceremony was held to worship the moon. Traditional dances are performed to show respect to the moon. The dance dates back to the Zhou dynasty, more than 2-thousand years ago. In Yichun City in Jiangxi Province, a firework show was on display. At the end of the performance, 2-thousand lanterns were sent up to the sky, symbolizing people's best wishes.

　　北京的樂壇公園舉行盛大的典禮來拜月。傳統(tǒng)舞蹈表達了人們對月亮的尊敬。這種舞蹈追溯到2千多年前的周朝。江西省宜春市上演了煙花表演。在表演結束之后，兩千個燈籠被放飛，象征著人們最美好的祝福。

　　Moving southward to Hong Kong, the Special Administrative Region has staged its traditional "Fire Dragon Dance" event to celebrate the holiday. About 300 performers took part. Meanwhile, eating moon cakes is a must during the Mid-Autumn Festival. In Southwest China's Nanning city, a huge moon cake with a diameter of 2 meters was on display in a local park, attracting many visitors to enjoy the savory sweet.

　　目光轉向南方的香港，香港特別行政區(qū)舉行傳統(tǒng)的“火龍舞”表演來慶祝佳節(jié)。大約有300名表演者參加。同時，吃月餅也是中秋節(jié)必做的一件事。在中國西南的南寧市，一個直徑兩米的巨型月餅在當地一個公園展出，吸引了很多游客前來品嘗這種好吃的甜食。
